FAQ: Frequently asked questions about Classic Living Homes

FAQ imageChoosing to build a custom home is a big decision. That’s why it’s important to feel confident that the builder you choose will do a spectacular job, long before you break ground.

At Classic Living Homes, we not only pride ourselves in building homes of exceptional quality and craftmanship, but in the relationships we build with our customers, and we’re always ready to answer questions about the home building process.

Below are some of the most frequently asked questions we get from people nearly every day who are interested in building a custom home.

Where does Classic Living Homes build homes in Cincinnati?

You’ll find Classic Living Homes properties in Montgomery, Indian Hill, Mason, Deerfield Township, Hyde Park and Mount Lookout and Loveland. Whether you’re looking to build a home in an established neighborhood like the Hyde Park or Mount Lookout or ready to live in a newer community like the Mason/Deerfield Township area, you’ll definitely want to take a look at the beautiful homes we’ve designed throughout the tristate.

We can also partner with you to build on a lot you already own, and we have worked with many Cincinnati homeowners to remodel or build additions to their current homes.

How “green” are Classic Living Homes? And what does it mean to be a LEED Certified Builder?

You’ll be happy to know that we take sustainability very seriously. In fact, Classic Living Homes can provide LEED Certification for all home buyers through our sustainability program. In addition, our homes are fitted with custom, energy-efficient appliances and other features that help keep energy use and costs down.

LEED stands for Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design, and is a designation developed as part of the LEED for Homes green building certificate program. LEED promotes the building of high-performance green homes in order to reduce our carbon footprint and to create a healthier planet today and for future generations.

How long does it take to build a custom home?

This is a question we get asked very frequently and the answer varies. Typically, it takes about 12 to 18 months from the time we begin working on the home to the day you move in. This timeframe depends on several factors, however.

One thing to keep in mind is that we are committed to building homes that feature exceptional craftmanship. It may take a little more time to build a custom home, but the wait is more than worth it.

It’s important to note, too, that out team will work closely with you every step of the way and keep you informed throughout the entire process. We value communication and love when our clients take an active role in the home building process.

Where can I see Classic Living properties?

First, take a look here on our website for links to video tours of our properties. If you’re interested in building a modern home, be sure to view this video of a home we recently completed. Prefer something a bit more classic? Here’s a video walk through of a timeless home we built last year. Once you peruse our videos, give the team at Classic Living Homes a call to discuss touring a property in person.

And don’t forget about Homearama 2022. We’re excited to be a part of this event that will be here before you know it!

Can I talk to previous customers?

Absolutely. In fact, what better way to learn what it’s like to work with the team at Classic Living Homes, than with a chat with those who know from experience? We are happy to provide you with references and can connect you with customers who are happy to answer your questions. In the meantime, view our customer testimonials
